ABOUT TWS 2018
“AI and the Mobile Device” focused on how machine learning, artificial intelligence, and some key applications will interact with wireless technology in the future. The Summit examined how Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) will simultaneously enhance connectivity as well as place demands on both devices and connectivity.
Dr. Rajiv Laroia (CTO and Co-Founder of Light) and Prof. Thad Starner (Professor at Georgia Tech and Tech Lead for Google Glass) delivered keynote presentations. Speakers and panelists for the technical sessions include: Erik Stauffer (Google), Tim O’Shea (Virginia Tech), Klaus Doppler (Nokia Bell-Labs), Sachin Katti (Stanford), and Xiaoqing Zhu (Cisco), to name a few.
TWS brings together leaders from industry and academia in an annual forum on emerging technology. The Summit offers direct access to cutting-edge research and innovations from industry leaders, investors, academics, and startups. Through keynote and panel-driven discussions, leading business and technology executives from around the globe share entrepreneurially-oriented research.
